Installing
If installing border somewhere other than at the ceiling, measure the desired height from the floor and mark with a light pencil mark.
Starting in a corner of the room, tack the border lightly with your fingertips in one corner only. Gently unroll about 2 feet of border, matching the edge to the pencil marks lightly tamp in place at the edges only.
Continue to unroll position and tamp gently as you move along the wall surface.
If during installation you are not satisfied with the placement of the border, depending on the host surface you should be able to remove and reposition. When border is in the desired position smooth lightly with the edge of your hand or with a wall covering plastic smoother. It is best to work from the centre of the strip to the edges, carefully smoothing all air bubbles. The border can be lifted and refitted on most wall surfaces if this takes place at the time of installation so if necessary, lift border away from surface and gently smooth as you reapply.

Removing
When applied as instructed to a properly prepared surface, self-adhesive borders may be removed at any time. It is possible that some wall surfaces will be damaged when removing self adhesive borders but this also applies in different ways when removing pasted paper, tiles, panels, paint, picture hooks or other pre-fixed wall covering so proceed with care.
Slowly peel from the wall, so as not to damage the underlying surface. When removing from wallpaper, take special care in seam areas.
It is best to peel at a 180 degree angle from the wall surface. Gentle heat (like that from a hairdryer) may be applied to soften the adhesive and make removal easier.
Residual adhesive maybe carefully removed with a solvent, following the solvent manufacturers’ guidelines and consulting a DIY specialist if required.
